Job Description:

We are currently seeking a contract employee who can help us manage our Social Media channels.

Reporting to the VP, Sales of Marketing, the Social Media Manager is responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. The individual must be a positive, creative, and dedicated hard worker who can balance a multitude of tasks in an extremely fast work paced environment. Must deliver high-quality content on tight deadlines with an anticipation of increasing followers. 

As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Core Job Duties

  • Develop content calendars and manage the day to day process of posting and scheduling on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily
  • Manage Digital Ad spends for ReFuel Mobile Social Media channels.
  • Develop copy for all social media posts.
  • Meet and exceed KPI’s by building out monthly growth and engagement reports.
  • Act as a strategic community manager and engage with followers on all social platforms to enable growth in alignment with client KPIs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Proficiency with social media management and analytical tools including Hootsuite.
  • Proficiency with social media ad buying. 
  • Must have a university degree, or college diploma, in a relevant field such as marketing, business, english, public relations, communications, and/or have equivalent work experience.
  • Must have professionally managed Social Media for brands.
  • Experience growing brands on social media through strategic community management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-driven, motivated and results oriented.
  • Familiar with key sales tools such as CRM, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.
  • Have a sense of humour.
